Description: PasswordJDM Dry carbon fiber intake
Price: SOLD
New/Used: Used
I ran this Password:JDM carbon intake one season. Bought it from another member. If you're not familiar with this intake you can read about it at Password:JDM's website.
In full disclosure, I encountered fitment issues, see my install thread here. While Password claims no hood cutting is required *I* recommend cutting your hood (similar to Mugen intakes) to make it fit more easily. There are some who have not had fitment issues but many have, including myself. When this was installed I did not cut my hood, but instead ran with the hood stops set higher than normal.

Cat and Comptech parts are not included. By purchasing this intake you're offsetting the costs of my forced induction setup
Thanks in advance.

There's a wear mark near the snorkel on the side closest to the hood latch (above, right side).

Will include new vacuum tubing as I reused some of it on the setup I'm currently running until I get the SC installed.

I also have this intake, its a really nice piece and as OP said you dont HAVE to cut the hood (you can raise the hood latch and other types of things to get it to fit)
But its also possible (and possibly much easier) to cut a rather small area under the hood to let the snorkle fit easily with clearance and not having to adjust
Good luck with sale!
