Do they make that clucking sound like a chicken when installed?

they all do that, but the sound isn't as bad people make it out to be. i have them installed on my car.

Is it during idle only or even while driving? Does it progress/flucutate in "clucking" as the car +/- speed?

Actualy it is as bad as people say. It isn't the Krank Vents that make the sound though...

Anyway, there is an easy fix. I drilled a needle sized hole in my oil fill cap. It lets off just enough vac to prevent the spark plug seal things (or whatever they are) from making the sound. Don't worry, there will still be a good strong vac, even with the pin hole.

you can make em for like $5.00 at a lowes or home depot... not to mention they are on ebay for $35.00.
