JRZ Coil-overs 13,000 miles---SOLD.
I purchased these coil-overs from Elda engineering when they were still in business directly from Wael and have put about 13,000 miles on them. After much debate I have decided to sell these coilovers. I was going to build up another s2000 but I think im going a different route so theres no reason to hold on to these any longer. These coil-overs include the pillowball mounts as pictured in the photos, which was an option with these coilovers. These are the Single adjustable (compression and rebound together) coil-overs from JRZ and are great for serious drivers who dont have the time or patience to set up double or triple adjustable shocks in their car, but offer 13 different levels of adjustment for the driver. The coil-overs feature Eibach 550front/400 rear spring rates and also include brand new in box Eibach 450fronts at no extra charge. 550f/400r was the setup Wael reccomended after we discussed my wants for the car which was an agressive streetable setup. I wanted a flater more stable turn-in, less brake dive but not so stiff that every bump upset the cars balance in a corner. I ran this setup with the TC design bump-steer kit which I would reccomend simply for the alignment angles it allows you to run. I bought the 450lb front springs because I wanted to smooth out the freeway ride and Wael reccomended the 450 springs , but I never got around to installing them. Here are some pics of the coil-overs. I am asking $1200 plus shipping, Orange county pickup is fine as well. This is a great setup for somone looking for a serious set of coilovers at a great price. Includes the adjustment tool. Any questions please let me know, thanks,
Chris

I had 1 track day with the car, there is probally 2 hours of track use on the coilovers, i dont have a shock dyno. When I changed my tires (maybe 10,000 miles) I noticed there was some fluid on the threads of the left rear shock body, I went to Westend for an alignment and corner balance after the new tires and when i pointed out the fluid to Darin he said "sometimes JRZ'S sweat" I was assured that the little bit of extra fluid was not a sign of problems,. I would still have these coilovers checked over by a qualified technician, they may need some level of service, or adjustment to suit your needs. I never felt any degredation of performance, and none of the shocks ever caused me any problems. Any other questions feel free to ask.

I dont know the point of the above post, but i would use caution in taking the opinion of a member with 230 days on the forum who is giving advice about coil-overs they have never seen in person.

Most owners would have no reason to revalve because of the wide range allowed in these shocks. the valving in these coilovers offers a wide range of dampening adjustments to fit most drivers needs. I looked into valving options early on (before I bought the JRZ'S)and compared the the differences between JRZ, Ohlins, Zeal and Bilstein and went with the JRZ's because of the valving options and range offered in this setup. I went through alot of trouble revalving my last set of Ohlins coil overs on an older e36 m3 and went with these coil-overs for the exact reason of the valving adjustments they offered.
SOLD thanks ben,
