FYI, that's not the correct OEM filter for the S2000.

Which doesn't mean it's correct, many dealerships have been selling the wrong filter to s2000 owners. Honda has a specific filter for the s2000 that unfortunately the parts dept chooses to ignore.

Thats fine, but every dealership around here sells that filter. So Iam sure all s2000 owners use this filter. Is there any side effects from using this filter?

Yes it doesn't have the correct flow for the s2000. The filter you have is basically the same as a generic Fram Filter.

Actually, The PT7 filter was one the only filter available last year for the S. It is the same size as the PCX, and PR3 filters. It is bigger than the new PLM filter. Depending on when the filters where purchased, they are correct.

For the first 3 model years the PT7, and PR3 filters where used. The PCX did not "exist".

The internal construction is different from the PCX, But I would have no problems using them. Good luck on the sale, Bump.
