its so funny how after i part out my car exactly what i had been looking for, for about 6 months goes up for sale.... damn well bump.
Slap them on your M3. If they can go on a $60,000+ S2000 (Cwest) and a $60,000+ R34 then they can go on your $46,000 BMW.

You overpaid by about $11000. In Hawaii a brand new M3 was like $49000 plus tax right before I left (July 04). Way to much for what you get IMO. They bring in the cars for under $50000.
I was looking at a 2003 and it had like 4000 miles and it was going for mid. 40s. Put down $35000 cash and anyone in their right mind will sell the car for $49000. Thats a fact.

well maybe in hawaii... but not in FL... coupes start in the $50 and a fully loaded coupe like mine sells for $60+ converts go for around $63-65... don't care where you look thats what they sell for.. so i didn't over pay. not to mention i was second time buyer since i turned in my X5 4.4i. and if you think thats a high price then go check out the prices in LA where in my friend is buying his now.. they are selling my same car for $65... don't know what crack head dealers you are going to but when the window sticker from BMW germany says $60,800 thats t he price of the car. simple as that

Where are you getting those bone head outrageous prices? Its only an M3 for christ sakes. You can goto different consumer sites and find out what they bring them in for. Simple. Its under $50000. The fact that they can get the consumer to pay $10000 over the actual price they paid is there tactic. Its called supply and demand thus the inflated prices.

Simply put; The economic principle that asserts that the less common something is, or the more that people want it, the higher its price.

For further proof I did the research for you...

Available Styles
Choose a style to load Equipment & Specs data
MSRP
Invoice
2dr Convertible Base $55,800 $50,940
2dr Coupe Base $47,300 $43,205
Destination Charge: $695

So your going to sit there and tell me if I walk into the BMW dealer with a bag of cash ($35000 to be exact) they arent going to sell it to me for under $50000? They are pure idiots if they dont especially if lets say I wanted the $44000 M3. I know for a fact if I went to the local Lotus or Acura or Dodge I can guarntee I would drive away with a new NSX, Viper, and even an Esprit with $35000 down. Thats not my point but I am pointing out that I could get a lot better car for the money.
Anyway back to the topic at hand.
Dont sell the mirrors John and get me your best photos ASAP!

I can tell you for 100% certany that if you walk into any BMW dealership in South Florida and you will not get my M3 the way it sits for less then $60... not going to happen. this discousion is a mute one since i purchased the car myself and did my shopping before i got the car. you are going by your so called wants.

A lot of kids want that car too now so hence the markup in price but us old guys actually know what these cars are worth.

Dude they bring in the car for like $41000-$43000. I know I have seen what they pay for them. My friend has a new M3 and paid $48600 out the door with $20000 down.

IMO I can solve your high price easily.

BUY FROM ANOTHER STATE AND DRIVE THE CAR BACK.
Done deal.

With the prices you just told me the dealers are crooks and I would say that to there face and then drive back a couple days later with a Lotus Esprit and flip them off...
