W/O walking out to the garage in +5 degree weather, would you still be able to use the hood prop rod with this cooling plate?

the prop is closer to the engine side vs the bumper side of things.

works best on the stock intake as everything is guided properly.
but i have seen pics of people who use this with other intakes. i have even seen some people cut these up to fit their j's intake.
