FS: Volk CE28 Time Attack Wheels $SOLD
Hi,
For sale are my Volk CE28 Time Attack wheels. All are 17". Fronts are 7.5" et50, rears are 9" et63. If you don't already know, these would be Volk's "recommended" or "safe offset" sizes for the S2000. With 225 width tires up front, and 255 rears, with most suspension configurations no fender roll would be necessary.
As far as I know, besides the Buddy Club wheels (which I would never put on my car), these would be the absolute lightest wheels in production, in these widths/diameters.
Currently Z1's are mounted up front (225x45). They have plenty of tread as you can see, but very heavy camber wear, which you can also see. No tires for the rears.
Includes center caps (which would cost you another $100 or so), and hub-centric centering rings to fit the S2000. Also includes Rays alloy stems.
You will see that on one wheel there is heavy rashing, about 2" in width. The car went off at the track and clipped the asphalt. Hope you can see in the pics that it is only superficial and there is no damage on the inside lip. There are no air leaks at all. The wheel balances perfectly.
I am asking $1470 shipped (sorry, cannot ship the tires with the rims for this price--if you want the tires, you'll have to pay more for shipping), or $1370 picked up (in LA). I believe this is a very fair price. These were my dream rims (I loved the Time Attack scheme.)
Please feel free to ask any question. Thanks!
Edit: SOLD!!!

That's a fair price IMO. Wheels retail for 3k+. w/ tires added in, it's not so bad. Shouldn't be too hard to have them refinished.
i would never put up something i would not buy myself, at the given price. these wheels were a dream.
