why spend 600 bucks on a hood that isn't even in perfect condition? Plus you will have to paint it a different color.

what are you talking about? $600 is for a perfect condition hood AND REPAINTED....the holes are for a the hood pins....the hood doesnt latch on normally on this one...you need to use hood pins b/c there is no latch under the hood....i dont know y ilikebeer wanted to fill the holes though....

I can tell you from experience that $600 for an already prepped and painted Veilside hood is a very good price. You would be lucky to get one un-finished for $600. These hoods need ALOT of sanding and other prep work to make them look good. My body guy, who is a member of this board said it was a real B$$%H and took more than a few hours and a bit of materials to make it look as good as it does now. Agian, $600 is a good price for a finished hood.
