FS: Rays 17x8/17x9 wheels
Im selling an old set of wheels ive had in storage for a while that came off an imported skyline. The wheels are made by Rays engineering, the line is called Eins, which are pretty rare here in the states. The wheels are in dire need of a new finish, which I never got around to getting done. The chrome lip on 3 of the wheels are pretty rashed. The specs as seen in the pics are 17x8 +40 and 17x9 +43. I also have all the original center caps for these wheels. Located in Anaheim, CA. Asking price: $450 obo.

Nice wheels! Do you know an estimate of what the cost is to repair? Are these multiple or single piece wheels? Also, do I need to roll or pull fenders? How much to ship to Sacramento CA 95823? PM me. Thanks, Bruce_S2K.

The wheels need a refinish/polish on the lips. the previous owner must have not known how to park. The gold paint on them is otherwise fine. I have been out of the S2k scene for a while so you need to verify these will fit, i know the offset is lower than what most people run. I have no idea what estimates are to get them refinished, i just never got around to it. I havent looked into shipping prices at all so I have no clue, was looking to sell them locally if possible.

For those questioning offset, i did some quick browsing. This is what i found.

The 50th post is very similar to this setup (color, style, and fitmet). Based on those images, these wheels should sit slightly more inset than his. A simlar setup (fitment wise) can be seen on post 52.

Bruce,
A quick quote on the ups website shows it to be 70 bucks if i ship 2 together, or if you want them individually wrapped, its around 120 (not counting shipping supplies). These are only estimates and it says each location may vary. And yes its all 4.

Those wheels look great.
For all interested in these wheels and worried about refinishing the lips. I just personally did mine ( even with them having a few gouges in them) and everything looks almost knew. gouges are taken down and cleaned off to where you can only see the light bend a little different if looking at the exact spot.
Give yourself a weekend and you could make those lips look brand new. just tape off the faces and with enough steps of sanding and wetsanding you should be able to get those looking beautiful easily.
Anyways free bump for great looking wheels and a great price. wish i could get those just to have a set of gold meshies again
