Cool FS: Escort Passport 9500i Radar Detector

Hi guys

First time selling here on s2ki, but I've been browsing the forums for yearssss.

Up for sale is a Brand New Escort 9500i Radar Detector (Red LED)! This thing will detect CHP Ka bands from MILES away (according to many radar tests). 360 degree protection from Radar and Lasers (though, with all radar detectors, laser detection isn't 100%). it's also invisible to Radar Detector "Detectors" in case you venture into a state where it's illegal.

Many of you are probably familiar with this model and what a great performing unit it is, on par with the famous/infamous Valentine1 detector. However, this unit looks alot better and has more functions than the Valentine1 (at least in my opinion)

One of the best features of the 9500i is the GPS Powered "TrueLock" feature that remembers where certain false alarms are and mutes them automatically (like garage doors, 7-11 sensors, markets, etc) However, if there is a cop that's camping there, the 9500i will still alert you since the frequency of this signal is different.

You can read all about the 9500i at escortradar.com

This is a great time to get yourself a detector as many of you may have noticed how COPS ARE EVERYWHERE ticketing left and right (especially on the freeways). After ONE (or, at max, two) saves, this unit will more than pay for itself! The hassle of insurance hikes .....traffic schoool ......fines .....court day ...... is not worth getting caught in my opinion.

Again, Brand new, Sealed, 100% Authentic, Escort Passport 9500i.

Comes with hard carrying case, smart cord, windshield mount, manual. Retails for $450 + tax + shipping. If you want the serial # itself and a photo of the serial, I can get that to you too.

SOLD!!

I have one as well and it works flawlessly. I've had the 8500 too which was top notch. I think the 9500 works even better. It seems to pick up cops sooner then the 8500 did. I'm not sure, but I believe the 9500 as a different band then the 8500. 9500 not only has the gps but it speaks. One of my fav things it does is calls out what band it picked up so you don't have to look at it. Also what I think is really cool, right after it first notifies you that there's a cop/false alarm it flashes your speed. When I first read about that I thought that was a waste, but it comes in handy.

FTR your description is inaccurate. The 9500i is not invisible to the Spectre 2Radar Detector Detector and is not recommended for use in VA/DC or Canada.

Good luck with the sale and nice price.

Here is the info on the invisibility of the 9500i to detector detectors:

"The Escort Passport 9500 Radar Detector is 100% invisible to VG2, the new VG4 and Spectre I radar detector detectors. It is partially invisible to Spectre II, III, Stalcar (used in Australia) radar detector detectors beyond distances of 650 feet."

From 1st RadarDetectors.com

From my read on it, I didn't claim it was invisible to ALL radar detectors. There isn't a perfectly invisible radar detector out there. The V1 isn't 100% invisible to the Specture II, III, IV, etc.
