Any big difference between V1 and V2 besides the color?

I believe they're completely different systems. Something to do with a dual chamber or something in the V2?

From AEM's website:
"The AEM V2 Intake utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters and lengths of piping), to create multiple frequency sound waves that help charge the cylinders with air throughout the entire rpm range.

We have realized significant power gains

Thanks for the changing the title.

The V2 is indeed a different unit using a larger second chamber. You gain about 1-2 horsepower with it and a heftier a price tag and of course, limited choice on color

Some also say that the V2 would be more prone to hydrolock your engine.

Maybe another reason to go with the V1. Thanks for that bit of info.
