judging from the small sniippet of the cluster, Im gonna say 8K...the 9K clusters have a small white number at the very bottom of the trim ring in the center below the odometer

That's what I was asking; I'm looking for the AP2 with 9K (I believe they are over in Europe ) ... thanks, never noticed the very tiny white numbers. Was hoping to score one stateside.

No the 04 have 2 plug and the 2000 thru 2003 have 4 plugs

I got mine from a salvage yard in the UK. Found and paid for it on a monday, by lunchtime thursday it was sitting on my toolbox....and the mileage was almost exactly what I had on mine You have to change a couple of things over from your original cluster (specifically the illuminated strip where all the dummy lights are.) And you will lose the green "Cruise Control" illumination, although the cruise still works. Mine had no bulb there and I put the bulb from the 8K one in, but it must not be the same circuit board because it doesnt light up.

Try getting the cluster wiring diagram for the UK and the US model. I bet all there is are a couple of wirings that need to be swap around to get the illuminations to work properly. I have the diagram for US model. Let me know if you need it. I don't know how to post it up but I can definitely email it to you....
