F/S VIS Carbon Fiber hood in DelVal
Link to Delval post:
CF hood for sale
edit:
I have a VIS Racing Extreme CF hood for sale, it has been wet sanded and cleared and will need to be wet sanded(2000grit+) and buffed to finish it off. I had it wet sanded and cleared because of the famous clouding that these CF hoods do over time. The wet sanding and clearing eliminated that and will protect it from happening again.
The hood isn't perfect as there is a small crack(1 inch) in the resin near the front of the hood and another blemish along the driver side towrads the rear of the hood. I owuldn't call it a crack but more of a "chip".
I took out the mesh part of the hood and had it blasted and repainted in a black satin finsh. If you want it a different color, you can repaint it before you put it back in the hood.
these hoods go for $450ish new and I'm asking $260 for my used sanded cleared hood...If you are interested, you will need to pick up as I won't ship the hood.
This picture has the crack in it, you have to look closely to the right of my flash near the upper edge there is a brown glare mark, the crack is right under that spot:
