I was going to buy that top from him but he informed me that there were cracks on the driver side along the side. As soon as I found this out I didn't want to mess with it....the additional cracks may have been a result of shipping since there was an initial crack but then again it should have never been shipped if he knew any additional stress would result in further cracking.

THIS ISN'T ROCKET SCIENCE. THE REASON THE SHIPPER WILL NOT PAY IS BECAUSE, IN ITS OPINION, THE ROOF WAS IMPROPERLY WRAPPED OR IT WASN'T INSURED. IT IS ALWAYS THE SELLER'S (SHIPPER'S) RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE IT IS WRAPPED TO MEET THE SHIPPER'S REQUIREMENTS. AS TO WHO PAYS FOR INSURANCE, THAT IS PRE-DETERMINED BY THE SELLER AND BUYER.
