Built F22, Hytech Supertech, PortFlow, Ap1 Pistons
I have a very fresh mild build F22
Hytech Stage 1 Cams
Port Flow Head w/ Supertech springs and retainers
Ap1 Pistons with new rings and bearings
F22 Block had 18,000 Miles on it very small scratch in one cylinder did not affect compression or leakdown
only reason for the new pistons was that we had run the stock motor for about a year in our car and thought we'd raise the compression a little this way while freshening up the bottom end. Head needed a valve job so we opted to get a Portflow head off the shelf.
This motor was built for us by Autowave in Huntington beach Ca. Pistons, Cams and Head were all installed new in the engine last week.
Engine made a 15% increase in power over stock motor with ITB's and Header/Exhaust
We ran it on the dyno to break in and took it to the track this weekend still not close enough to the competition. going to go with an even more aggressive build next or possible K24 swap
Someone is going to save alot of money compared to doing this engine on their own. Sealed Engine only no accessories (alt,starter,manifolds...,
Hytech Cams $2500
Portflow Head $1650 with exchange
Ap1 pistons, pins, rings .....$800
Heavy Duty Tensioner $175
Used F22 $4000
Labor $1300
Total invested in this engine $10,425
Asking $6,425 Shipped to the Conti U.S. from Provo Utah
