Buddy Club N+ Spec Coilovers (used)
SOLD
Location: Brockville, ON
Means of Contact: PM
Used set of Buddy Club N+ Spec coilovers for sale
$500 including shipping & Paypal to the lower 48 and Canada
I will provide a $20 discount for cash and pickup (I will meet within 120km/75mi of Brockville)
You get everything in the picture plus the two spanner wrenches for adjusting them.
I bought this set used from a fellow S2KI member to test whether a higher spring rate would control the fore-aft pitching of the car under accel/decel (07 S2k's have the softest rear springs). They do that marvelously, but I found them a bit stiff for the poorly maintained roads in Southern Ontario. So, I'm selling to get money for a new set of PSS9's.
These are used. They are not like new. They have fading of the anodized coating - probably from wheel cleaner used by previous owner and a couple of the dust boots are cracked. However, they work flawlessly and the rebound damping adjustments make a very noticeable difference. I used them for about 2000 miles. The previous owner said he used them for about 4,000, if I recall correctly. Functionally, they are in fine shape - no leaks, no scored or bent shafts, etc.
Installation is fairly easy. I managed to hold the drop to 14mm, but there's plenty of adjustment left if you want a big drop.
Priced to sell, so no lowball offers, please.
Although I've bought several items through this website, I haven't sold here before. So, if you want to see my ebay rating (100%), look me up there - gravity_stricken is my ebay name.
Sorry for the link to the picture, but I can't get it to insert one here correctly.

From stock oem hight, can these drop you just an inch or less? Or they start much lower? Interested but not looking to dump the car. Also, how does it compare to comfort and performance of let's say oem ap1 suspension? Sorry for all the questions lol

I was able to set them up for a average drop from stock of 14mm (so just over 1/2"). I preloaded each spring with 3mm of preload, then adjusted ride height separately after install. I say 'average' drop because you'll find that the ride height is slightly different on every corner in stock form.
So, just like you, I wasn't looking to lower the car much. I wanted to be able to keep stock alignment setup and be able to get into my driveway without scrapping my lip. The N+'s worked perfectly. Honestly, if the roads here weren't total crap, I'd have gotten the car corner-balanced kept them. The handling feel of the car was much better than stock.
