Honda S2000 ACT Clutchs are manufactured from new units, not rebuilt from worn out parts. ACT diaphragms are heat-treated using an exclusive 3-stage process. ACT hardens the release bearing contact area to reduce wear. The Honda S2000 ACT Clutch designed in the optimum working range for maximum clutch life, clamp load and release travel.
Proper geometry is maintained for long clutch life through a reliable single diaphragm design.

ACT is commonly asked. Horsepower is a derivative of torque and rpm. If two engines are equal in peak horsepower, but achieve this peak at a much different rpm, the torque output will be significantly different. Likewise, the peak horsepower is not necessarily made at the same rpm as peak torque. Bolt on modifications such as exhaust, intake, ignition wires, etc. usually produce little or no change in torque output even when a sizeable increase in horsepower is achieved.

trust me.....s2000 people, i saw my friend's stock 2002 s2000 with act 6 pot clutch(no intake, no header,no exhaust and no ecu chip) smoke my friends 2004 Smg M3, the s2000 win by 3~4 cars, i didnt believe that even they race in front of my eyes. so i decided to drive my friends s2000 and rece with my friends smg again. i let go the ACT clutch around 6000rpm, and i shift up on 9000 rpm every gear till 4th gear, and i already won my friend's Smg M3 by 2 cars.

the thing i love the most is that i keep tripin my friends So-3 every time i shift up on 9000rpm till 4th gear. when you passing a M3 and trip your tires when you shift up next to them just priceless (most car can only trip their tires when they shift from 1th gear to 2nd gear)

act 6 pot clutch and act heavy duty pressure plate make your s2000 not drop too much rpm everytime you shift up, you will feel big difference when you try ACT.

been there, done that.

AusS2000, what kind of clutch you using?

Well let's see, the M3 SMG has 386 HP and 365 NM and does 0-62 in 4.8 seconds whilst the S2000 has 240hp, 208NM and does 0-100 in the 5s if you clutch drop at 7000 rpm.

Sorry friend, but there is more to your story than you are letting on. I'll not say anymore on this as it's a fine kit and it's sold and I suspect the only person who actually believes your kill story is you.

Damn, AusS2000 doesnt know how to race with a smg M3 , there are so many people who drives a s2000 and smoked a M3 on S2ki.com , i guess AusS2000 never done that and always got burned from a M3, go find some more information, M3 only have 333 HP in US. 0-62 doesnt mean anything, it all about the driver and how well you can launch.......
the person who doesnt believe on a s2000 shouldnt own one, shame on those people, i guess AusS2000 is one of them........

i will say it again, I smoked a M3, been there, done that!!!!!!!

Just because the moron behind the wheel of an SMG can't drive doesn't mean that the clutch you're selling is responsible for the win.

Please start a new thread when your rear end goes out because of all the chirping you're doing.

Whether or not I can or have beaten an M3 is totally irrelevent to whether or not a clutch increases performance or makes M3 SMGs crap their pants. I confess, I haven't raced an M3 SMG in a stock S2000. Because my S isn't stock.

And you resorting to personal attacks on me just shows that you don't have what it takes to back up your spurious claim.

This is you:
