When the S2000 ride height is lowered, the angle of the drive shaft becomes stressed. The added rotational load pre-maturely wears the CV bearings. As a result, the lifespan of the drive shaft is reduced. The added 10mm spacer corrects the angle of the drive shaft so it bears the load in which it was originally designed for. Has been shown to double the life span of drive shafts on lowered vehicles. Especially useful for vehicles using high grip tires or aftermarket LSD's.
