AP1 Heater Controls

I'm selling a working AP1 Heater/AC control unit from the dash. This was sent to me as a spare when I thought mine was dead, however I did plug it in to my harness to test it was working before packing it for shipping.

I thought ap1 controls were silver? I'm interested in this, will it work in a 2006 ap2?

The AP1 controls are silver, however it looks more like a dark grey. The AP2 controls are more of a gloss black. I couldn't even tell the difference in person until I had them side by side. I know it will switch back and forth between the AP1 and AP2v1 with no problems, so unless the wiring was changed for 2006 then I would imagine it would work as well
