Honestly the mechanic and I screwed up. I assumed that the original flywheel was going to be damaged as well so I didn't think I'd have to give him instructions to replace it with the new one. I thought it'd be a given. When I got there he told me that he had used the one on there because the condition was the same. I know right...anyways I'm just glad to have my car running again and don't really care to have the lighter flywheel..Plus the potential to make a few bucks back is very welcomed too.

Is this flywheel damaged? In the first pic at the top of the flywheel (outer side) it looks dented or bent.

Just checked it. It's a bad picture. No dents. Also, I placed it on a table to see if it looked bent and it looks straight.

I can vouch for the flywheel. It was mine. Only has 16k on it. Clutch engagement on it was seamless and smooth. I took it out when I put an ACT light weight flywheel in mine..
