I have for sale an '03 head and block for sale. The engine sustained an oil starvation failure that appears to be somewhat minimal. The head suffered oil starvation to the journals. I wouldn't use the cams at this point due to slight scarring of the lobes. The block suffered the most. The crankshaft threw a thrust washer and sustained scarring on the main bearings. The crank may or MAY NOT be rebuildable . . .depends on the depth of the bearing scarring. Rods are fine. Pistons iffy as I have not inspected them yet. Still waiting on the the shop to install the new engine and I can inspect the damaged one.once it's returned to me. The block should be rebuildable. The cylinder liners may have some damage. I don't know at this point. At any rate, the block is definitely rebuildable if someone wants a spare to experiment with or to use as a replacement for their totally destroyed block. The head would be a great candidate for an upgrade. It could be ported, fitted with larger valves/seats....etc. Make me a reasonable offer for the whole shabang, or whatever parts you may want. You pay shipping costs.
