Default You guys say bride or brid?

I spent the past week trying to find seat rails for my seats. I eventually I got them from bulletproof and got a great deal! During the processing of calling all of the retailers in the US that carry them, some retailers didn't know what I was talking about when I said brid, and some retailers would constantly correct me when i said bride. I was wondering what you guys call them?

Why would you call it Brid? Even the company spells it Bride.

Glad to see this as a topic! Having proper pronunciation is important when it comes to supporting our JDM companies.

Taken from Bride's Japanese website, the Japanese spelling for the word is "brido". Sometimes the final vowel in Japanese words is omitted, as is the case with the word desu, which is pronounced "des". In this situation the O or E at the end of Bride is dropped, thus giving the pronunciation "brid".

Hopes this help to keep you updated on the latest in JDM pronunciation.
