what wheel width and offsets did you guys go with? The fronts are like 40mm over.

I'm wondering if 17x9 +30 would be ok for the rear with the over fender. someone told me I'd need to roll / stretch / cut the fender before I put the over fender on for that offset to work in the back

I don't own an S2k but I am pretty sure you will need to cut/stretch the factory rear fender in order to utilize the extra width the over fenders provide otherwise you will rub with that kind of size and offset.

you'll be fine with that size. that will even work with the stock fenders if you run aggressive camber and roll the fenders.

here's what I did with mine, I roll and flared out the OEM instead of cutting:

Yeah.. just leaving the stock fender under there accomplishes nothing. If it rubbed before and you leave it, it isnt going to magically stop rubbing because you bolted something to it.

You will have to cut/roll the factory fender to give more clearance for the tire.

if you want to run that in back youre gunna need to roll and push the fender out, maybe paint too. Then install the over fender, and trim it appropriately.

if you trim the fender... why do you need to roll and push the fender?
it's only 17x9 +30 .... i would worry more about where the rear bumper meets the rear fender.... that's where it rubs mostly

well, depends on the tire sie you run too... i run 255 or 275 in back.

if you are like trimming the fender OFF, then yea no rolling needed, but if you mean just trimming the fender lip, some rolling/pushing still may be needed.

Has anyone tried to go "back" to "stock" after cutting the fender? I was thinking you might be able to save the pieces that you cut out of the fender and have them welded back in and painted to save you from having to replace the entire rear 1/4 panels. Anyone tried this?

Just curiouse how much work would be involved to reverse such a procedure if you wanted to sell the car

That would be a nightmare!! Your bodyshop will hate you for it.

J'sracing: Does J's actually make a rear over fender, or do they just license their name over here to sell it? I've never seen it on their website.

You think so? IMO, it wouldn't be any different than cutting out a section of a panel and replacing it due to rust except the panel would already be lined up perfectly. Hmmm worth talking to the body shop to see what they recommend.
