Sounds like a good deal. How is the paint looking now?
Everything is all good. I also had my bumper, hood, mirrors, and wing from the same guy.

Whoa... how is that "top notch" if they are fragile and the glass has air pockets in it???? That sounds like something that would happen on a cheap Harwood hood?
I had these 1-2 years ago and are a must if your going with lower offset wheels and fatter tires and a BBK. Mine were pretty strong and it cost over $1200 to paint them. They do add flex agents and they also added a black coat to strenghthen them.

If I ever buy an S2000 for my wife I would would not waste money on them unless she had a BBK, low offset wheels, and fatter tires. They are just not needed if you dont have those.

Craziness. Does a similar amount of prep & paint need to be done to the J's or Spoon fenders?

perfect point ASMspec, there probably alot of people who would go out and get these just to get them. which is not rare to see at all.

How many people would be interested in a set of these in FRP(fiberglass)? How many of you would actually lay down money for some, and how much would you be willing to spend?

I'd be interested and would pay around $850 for two.

C-west fenders are around 900$, so I wouldnt expect replicas to cost anything more than 600$. Only way I would buy replica fenders is if they fit better than the C-west, which isnt going to happen. You get what you pay for.

Unfortunately the J's fenders are too wide unless you want to run a wider wheel with a smaller positive offset. Also, you'd want to get the J's rear fenders as well or else the car will look funny. I was thinking that I could simply get the C-West fenders and be done.
