Spoon Calipers and Work S2R's

Default Spoon Calipers and Work S2R's

I'm running Work Meister S2R's, the fronts are 17x7.5 +52 .....is a spacer required for the Spoon Calipers and if so what size? thanx in advance

I'm sure spacer is required, probably at least if not more than 10mm.

+52mm is quite high for spoon caliper clearance. I know the spoon wheel has an offset of +35mm I think...

the Spoon wheel offset sounds correct....the S2R's have a nice arc to them to assist in stuffing a BBK in there...thanx tommy

Regarding the arc of the spokes...the S2R has multiple face types. Because of this the actual distance behind the spokes for a BBK is very much related to the face type. Work produces a "Big Caliper" (called a R disk) face type completely for the reason of providing better brake clearances. WHen doing a 7.5" wide front for the S2000 I always recommend a big caliper disk for the front so that there is room later for BBKs.

You should talk to the person you bought your works from and find the details of your face/disk type from them.

, Ben has a great point! I'm being too lazy to explain further details. Usually most of the time, R Disk are special orders. I don't believe there are many distributors who stocks these specific types for BBK clearance.
