So I'm looking for a recommended HKS certified dealer that can tune my Fcon V for a reasonable price and actually knows wtf they are doing/talking about. Any suggestions are appreciated. Tx Shock.

can you run the car and log it, then send the log out to HKS so they can make you a map like AEM tuners can do?

Why would you get HKS over AEM if you haven't already found a tuner prior to purchasing??

In my case, I already have the AEM EMS, but would like to upgrade to the HKS F-con.

Understandable, but why fix what isn't broke, how has the AEM failed you? I'd like to know cause I may buy it someday. The Tuner is the most important thing, not the computer. The Motec system is probably the best in terms of versatility, but if you can't find a tuner for it, you'd be wasting your money. It's like suspension, buy from a company that can build to your specs, i.e. someone in the U.S. that understand English and is readily available.

hks fcon $480, Emanage=crap, EMS $1500-$1700, pretty much sums it up for me

Where are you getting a Fcon Vpro for $480? The Fcon Vpro goes for $1400

Its not a Vpro its just the HKS fcon V unit known as the IS now. I already bought it. Tuning just sux on the east coast.

Ahhhh. Well if you go to the HKS site and click on the "dealer locator" link up top. And then select USA and then select the state you're in. It'll give you a list of dealers in that state, but then some are certified to tune and some are not, but there's a little emblem/badge by each one.

There's a place certified to tune in MD which is rather close to where I'm at, but I've heard bad stories about them so....
