Default Mugen Hardtop questions

Id like to get a hardtop for my S2000. Ive never seen any in person, but Im told that the OEM top is finished on the inside very nicely. I was wondeirng if the same is true for a Mugen FRP hartop? I think they look much better but I wouldnt want just bare FRP inside. Also, does the Mugen top come with any hardware, or would I still need to buy all of that? Thanks

authentic mugen tops fit great but the inside doesn't have the liner like an OEM top...the replica ones can be hit or miss with fitment and sometimes have edges missing. as for hardware, the mugen ht does come with hardware if you buy it new, if you buy a replica one, you would need to buy the oem hardware kit and window or some aftermarket one (ie IIGQ4U).

Thanks for the info. I know Seibon makes a mugen replica in CF, does anyone make a replica in just FRP?

c-wings makes a replica, but I am not sure about their quality or fitment. I am running an authentic FRP Mugen Hardtop and the inside is just painted black. nothing too flashy or whatever, but it doesn't bother me. I think it suits the black interior quite nicely.

The inside of the Mugen FRP HT is a black gel coat. Gel coat is what manufaturers use when making FRP products as the protectant for the first layer of fiberglass.
