Maxrev's T1R 70mm V2 Titanium Review
Hello JDM land.
Wanted to share my review of the T1R V2 Titanium exhaust system. I believe T1R stuff is made in Japan so.. here it goes.
Delivery from AJ-R went smooth. The box was little torn but the exhaust arrived with out any damage. Unlike the stainless system, the Ti system does not come with any resonator before the main resonator section. First impression out of the box.. I was amazed by how light the exhaust system is. Then I noticed the small details such as the welds and bends on the piping, which was absolutely flawless. The bends in the piping is much improved from the older T1R 70.
Since its a header back exhaust system, I bought one of those spark plug anti-foulers for the O2 sensors. (See Below for more Info)
Mechanical CEL Eliminator
Impression: Its Loud! For those who like the race car / race bike sound... this exhaust is for you! It might be bit too loud for the street but for a track car, this exhaust is perfect. The silencer does help somewhat but its still fairly loud even with it. The throttle response is also very good and I especially enjoy downshifting as you can hear the raspy exhaust note coming out of the exhaust.
My Ti V2 and Stinkytofu Stainless Steel V2
The resonator turned slightly blue also.
Nice aggressive angled look.
How does it sound? I will let the video be the judge of that. The engine is all stock except the exhaust.

Sweet review! Your movie is motivating me to create a movie for the SS version . Yes this exhaust is loud. When driving behind Maxrev's car, he will gun it in front of me and it will sound like his car is still in front of me when he is actually like 50 car lengths ahead, LOL. The titanium is substantially louder and more raspier than the SS version. At 8000 rpm (Ap2 suckas muahaha), the exhaust is as loud as my car at 9000 rpm. I'd like to also add that the throttle response on Maxrev's car felt noticeable better than my car. I think this might be due to my super long piping AEM V2 intake compared to stock intake on Maxrev's car.
