Zero hp. Although I do not have a baseline dyno, my car with a Mugen exhaust dynoed the same as my friends completely stock S2000. But the exhaust does have a nice note and it's lighter than stock.

oh geez...i hope you didn't see this header on ebay. i purchased it a week ago only to find out that "kakimoto header" is just an oem header. he refunded my money but i think he reposted the auction.

yeah the header was on ebay, how ever i didnt bid on it as he couldnt tell me anything about it as he was selling for a friend, and seemed very cheap.

i might possibly have a mugen system shortly but i am unsure as to have it as i really wanted to get some good gains off a system.

what header/system combo would you peeps have? i want some good gains, but dont want to break the bank.

and last of all, what are the spoon fakie intakes like off ebay? what filter would you use? k&n? spoon? itg?

regards

steven

It's generally accepted that a single outlet exhaust yields better gains than a dual outlet exhaust. Adding a testpipe also helps. As far as brands, I've read that the T1R exhaust gives you a little over 10hp, but most of that is attributable to the testpipe that comes with that exhaust. Take away that pipe, and I'm sure it performs similar to other single exhausts. I could be wrong.

Honestly, I don't think you're going to see modest HP gains with an exhaust. If you want bang for the buck, you should get the 4.57s gears. That being said, you won't be disappointed with the Mugen exhaust note. The S2K should have come from the factory with this exhaust.

I think the 4.57 Final Drive, is the best mod Ive done to my car so far..
Ive gone through AEM intake and such, but ended up with a Gutted intake box, with a Spoon snorkel..
Then as far as exhaust, I have the Spoon N1, and Berk testpipe..
I love the setup so far.. As far as Dynos are concerned, that is coming soon, as soon as I get my Spoon Header, and a VAFC..

whats the spoon n1 like? is there much drone? is it loud? as i can get a full spoon n1 system with testpipe etc, for $600 brand new and delivered, or another good option is a buddy club spec 4 but havent heard alot about them

im waiting on my spoon snorkel, then im still undecided on what filter to get???

what difference does the 4.57 fd make? how much etc???
