Default J's Type S front bumper fitment?

to all the owners with the J's Racing Type S front bumper I was wondering if any of yall had fitment issues. Me and friend did a test fit before it gets painted and the bumper had some gaps near both headlights. after a lil sanding it fit a lot better though. I just thought this bumper would fit perfect. any help would be appreciated.

hey,
talk to aj-pwr or learners permit about this issue. there is a little sadning needed in order to fit properly right where the bumper meets the headlights.

I was under the impression that all the Type S bumper were shipped that way, so that the buyer could fit it. It is always easier to remove material than add

hmm, seems a little weird if you ask me. i would assume that if i am paying that much money on a bumper it would come perfect. My mugen SS front came perfect. no imperfections and perfect fit. thats what i expect on a 2k+ bumper.

I had a look at J's Racing 2006 catalog with the yellow S2000 on the cover and you can tell that the fitment on the edge is not good at all. I dont know if it is a design flow or if it is designed for a wider body(!!??). Dont know this one yet.

The fitment is not that great, my buddy just got his kit and the car is still in the bodyshop after a week. They are trying to work on the bumper to get him a relatively perfect fit.

From what i heard, the bumper has extra material around the headlights that needs to be shaved to fit each vehicle. Why? I don't know...
