I think the "type V" is more agressive than the "type S" There is probably some confusion here??
Yeah the type S is really simple just a large open air vent in the middle

Why you ask? Well this is a very easy answer.

Seibon hoods have a long history of the following:

#1) Not fitting correctly
#2) Fading with exposure to sunlight
#3) Clear coat chipping away after several months
#4) STB burning through the bottom of the hood thus warping the CF side
#5) Squirter pieces not fitting correctly

I can go on and on. I had two of them back in 2002-2003. The difference you can see right when you put two cars side by side. One is a almost off yellowish 2x2 weave with misweaves in it and gaps on each side, not to mention a 1/4 inch higher than OEM hood.

The Js fits pretty darn good and the weave is nicely done with a 1x1. There are some misweaves as well. Underside is really nice too. First Molding pays some attention to detail.

It all comes down to your budget and the look you want. If you want to pay $300 for a knock off hood then so be it. If you want to spend $900 and get a lot nicer product then so be it.

Acutally I bought a Seibon hood (for now) from Mike@Evasive it will be painted but I also order the Real J's Hood and that will take 1-2 months to get here

Sweet. If you paint the replica hood than all is gravy. Mikes a good guy. I personally dont like Seibon products and will never own any again. Just had bad experiences with them. Thats all.
