installed intake (7K RPM) cut off ?

i installed a "no name brand" aluminum intake pipe with AEM filter... and when everything is installed i try to rev it for sound test, it cuts off at 7K RPM ???? anyone know why? thanks !

has your car warmed up completely? on AP2's your temp gauge should show 3 bars. thats what it sounds like.

yeah, you're hitting the cold rev limiter. nothing to do with your intake.

ok now its warmed up and redlined to 9k yeah! i was worried for a minute thanks guys! 9k !!

Just my.02;not a very good idea to redline a car,standing still,in neutral.
