How do i distinguish an authentic spoon HT?
Hello,
I dont post here much but had a quick question. long story short my car was vandalized(keyed all the way around window smashed), and my OEM hardtop was stolen.
The body shop i have my car at told me that one of the guys who works there has a spoon hardtop for sale. Sounds kinda shady and i know there are replicas out there and was wondering how i can distinguish a authentic spoon hardtop piece. Will there be a serial number or a stamp of some sort? If so where can i find it? I assume the hardtop is fiberglass and must be painted? And im acctually very confused about the side windows (or if there are any). Ive seen pictures with both.
any help is much appreciated!! thank you!!

Only Bulletproof Automotive sold Authentic Spoon Hardtop with the side windows. They modified Authentic Spoon hardtops with the side windows.
From the ones I seen there is a plaque inside of the hardtop with the Spoon Logo riveted in. I don't recall exactly where but it should be obvious.
