No, you'd want an ecu from the 02/03 models. The my00/my01 ecu's are the same thing. The 02/03 run a bit leaner and is supposedly more responsive at lower rpms.

yes they do, honda didn't tuned some 00's and 01's differently than one another. all 00s and 01s run rich.
I don't know what you classify "rich" as, but there is a GREAT deal of power to be had on early Ap1's by just fuel tuning.
