I agree. If its $2k+ we're talking about, go ASM. I think medicalstudent has it on order. I always thought the GruppeM could be obtained for about the cost of the J's. Hmm, guess I was wrong.

I've driven in 2 E46 M3s with the GruppeM. It is quite possibly one the worlds best engineered intake for that car. You don't really feel its performance through the first few gears but when you start to gain speed (50+mph) it just pulls and pulls and pulls. I always thought it would work well with the F20/22C since it is also a very demanding, high revving engine.

The GruppeM intake was a popular one in the last HyperRev magazine I thumbed through. Mugen was probably second most common. I have the GruppeM on my ITR, and I love it. Though, if spending $2K plus shipping from the UK, I'd probably go with the ASM, the best of both worlds it looks like.

There are a couple european members on this board with this intake...I believe in Germany and netherlands. I would post in there. I've had experience with gruppe-m products on other cars and was never dissappointed - but cannot offer any experience with the S2000.

I've had my eye on this rare intake for a couple of years. I really like it, except for the rubber elbow that acts as an air inlet. To me, it looks unfinished and not well engineered. The elbow is picking up cool air from the opening at the side of the radiator when the car is moving (just like the PRM) which is good, but it needs a velocity stack, or something besides that metal ring on the end of the elbow.

I know you mentiuoned the J's intake. If you are going with the J's front bumper, it would be sweet to connect the Gruppe M intake directly to the intake opening on the bumper.
