Hey scott do you have any ap2 na basemaps I could use as a foundation for my tune?
Thanks

Thanks

It's not like this is an AEM EMS and you need a base map to get the car started up.

that's actually kind of a funny question. Since the EU is a piggyback you're working off the factory ecu. A zeroed out EU is pretty much your base map. Tune from there!

Has anyone tuned a boosted S2k with large injectors? How do you get away the closed-loop issue? (the ECU leaning out the AF to stoich under low throttle openings but still in boost)

[QUOTE=MugenRioS2k,Dec 30 2007, 06:02 PM] it requires some different wiring on the harness to allow you to trick the stock ECU into open loop sooner.
Not that hard to figure out however don

Actually, no special stuff required and no real secret either. You need to enable both fuel and both ignition maps. One uses TPS as input and the other using MAP.

I think there is an external adaptor sold by Greddy to alter the AF signal going to the ECU. WHen enabled (auxiliary map), it sends a stoich signal to the ECU (0.5v) so you can play with whatever AF ratios you want through the ULT.

We have done over 100 installs and have never used this feature . Your car will stay at Stoich when in closed loop via the factory computer , hense why you need to read the factory fuel trims when tuning so you dont upset this balance . Then we tune the rest with a wide band on the dyno in open loop .. no need for O2 feed back .
At least we have found no need for it
