Not necessarily. Just understand that the Ergo IIs will take up more space in the cabin than the OEM seats. And be prepared to sit higher and farther forward. You get used to it, but it's a little awkward at first. Also, the adjustment knob will be almost entirely obscured by the door sill, so you'll want to adjust as little as possible.
not really what I wanted to hear but it's great to get your feedback. I hope that my helmet won't be poking out of the roof
So how much improvement does the bride ergo II seat have over the stock dave? Is it really worth installing?

The Ergo II really holds you in. You'll find out just how much energy you used to spend holding yourself in place when you don't have to do it anymore
I found that I could concentrate a lot more on driving and I didn't have to focus so much on not flying out the window.
I'm 6'2" and I felt a little cramped at first but after I got used to it I was fine. I never wore a helmet with the top up, though, so I can't really comment on that.
I can honestly say that despite the room I lost I still preferred the Ergo IIs over stock seats. Whenever I drive an S2000 with stock seats now, I feel like it's trying to toss me out
I've sold my Ergo IIs and now I run an Exas III. I don't miss the adjustability since I never used it anyway, and with the right rail it actually offers MORE leg- and headroom that the stock seats. If you're thin enough (no more than a 34" waist) then it's the best of all worlds
