I have the Megans...another local guy does too and he likes them. I think they are really good for the $. Although I don't track the car. Just some mtn. runs. I heard someone say the Megans are made in the same factory as the Apexi ones. I dunno...could be BS

???

If you're not going to lower the car, then don't waste your money on coilovers. The stock suspension should be more than adequate. Go get an alignment and run more camber if your main concern is 'confidence' in turns.

Your statement is vague to say the least, since you chose to edit the latter part of his argument regarding the purchase of a coilover set-up.

Re-read his original post and you will find the answer you seek my little grasshopper

Not everyone puts a set of coilovers just to drop/slamm the car.

people that buy Megans, BC's, low end Teins, etc. do because those kits are not of higher quality than the oem equipment. I'd bet that an OEM car will out perform and out handle a car with those kits and I bet the OEM will have a better ride. I can promise you that Honda/Showa did a lot more R&D than Megan.

I have to agree that you have to get to a certain price point before the aftermarket suspensions will outperform OEM.

Not that there is anything wrong with lowering a street car just because you want that lowered look. It's a different goal for folks with different intentions on what they'll do with their car

someone mentioned that pss9 is better choice for daily drivers by the advantage of it offers on the comfortable side.
also I found there is a guy who is selling his PSS9 to me with 1200 shipped. so I am thinking for 300 extra to get a EURO brand is not that bad. wht do you guys think?

and I really want to know what's the hell relationship b/w BILSTEIN and SHOWA???
they seem like produce the same produce with different place of the world......and diff company names...
