Default which brand of COILOVER: MAGEN or BUDDY CLUB N+?

I am thinking to update my babay in soon

well because the SPOON and TEIN will cost me over 1000 bucks for brand new coilover. so i will just skip both of them and turn my attention on

1) MAGEN
2) BC N+

bot of them are near 900 bucks which is suitable my current budget.
however, MAGEN is a new production line which has jsut came up near 2007. I heard MAGEN used pretty good material to produce their damper and springs. So in the quanlity, which one is better for daily drive? in ther other words which one of them has more confortable? (I know it's such stupid question to ask which one after mkt damper has much more confortable thant others. but yeah, for a most daily driver like me I will pay attention on that)

appericate any common from u guys

everyone that i know that has tein is not happy with them including me. spoon is too expensive for something thats not adjustable but it does perform well. The buddyclubs are great for the price but i've heard that they have a leaking problem. as silent dancer said if you have the money go for the varient 3, but im poor so i went with apexi.

out of your choice, tein would be the best.

PSS9 ?
Have been good.

Depends how hard you want to push it, but H&R has a Nordschlife Kit, non adjustable, but that is hardcore.

Money is what limits.

from your choices TEIN...

but since price is an issue consider the PSS from bilstein or the gound control/koni set-up

Not too mention Tein is not that hard to get the suspension re-valved should it require it. If you get the spoon it may be able to go to OPAK which would not be too bad, but if it had to go to Japan it would take forever . The buddy clubs are not that bad, but I would still run Tein.

I have the buddy club racing spec on my car and they are absolutely impressive! I daily my car and track it 2 time a month. They're very nice on the streets and handle to bar at the track. For the price and quality of the coilovers I would recommend it to you.

Not to bash anyone, but if someone plans to upgrade to a coilover system , he/she should have a sound understanding of compression, rebound and spring rate before stating that x brand coilover is garbage.

After a thourough search, I bought the TEIN FLEX for 1280 shipped from a board sponsor. these come with 10k springs in the fronts, and 12 kg for rears, 16 way adjustable. Too harsh for daily driving.

So I ordered from tein, two 8kg springs for the fronts(100 shipped), and moved the 10k to the rear. I can get away with this because with Tein Flex I can go +-2kg without having to re-valve (another option if I wanted to go lower or higher). At 8 clicks from full stiff (fronts) and 8-4 clicks for rears (I have a Tanabe front sway bar so I play a little with the rear setting). Ride quality for daily driver is outstanding, not to mention the handling. Oh, and I am dropped to 0 finger gap

Clunking noises from coilover are 99.99999999999999% atributted to loose lower spring perches. When installing, the lower spring perch must be tighten at least half a turn after making contact with the spring, if the coilover system has independent height adjustment such as Tein Flex. Then make sure that you super tighten (hammer come to mind) the lock nut.

These minor tips make a world of a diference in performance and ride quality.

I once rode in a RX-8 with poorly installed and adjusted Tein Flex and I can now understand why some people have had a disapointing experience with them, as well as with other coilover.

Having said that, Flex would be my first choice, and BC a close second.
