I dont think it's ricey, as it serves a purpose. Its as JDM as any other exhaust (if that makes sense), maybe not as popular, but still serves a good purpose.
Has anyone Dyno'd this exhaust in particular?
It has 63mm pipes.
The reason why I wanted to keep it is, because im pretty sure it makes atleast decent power, and not a loss. Me and my friend always race, he has stock everything, and all I have is that exhaust I still pull on him everytime. Not 100% though about the power gain, but ehh...
All your comments are well appreciated, I guess all I have to do is Dyno this thing to find out , ehh?!
Thanks though, Ill be going for that J's Header for sure!

i apologized, i didnt mean to be so hard on you. the only negative thing about the n1 is the metal used, why not titanium?

good luck with the tune^

well, consider that the N1 can be had for $500 and the other exhausts you mention are $1k plus. the N1 does just as well as if not better than plenty of other systems available. i have one and i like it. dont get me wrong id love a j's 70rr but i cant justify the price on it right now just to be able to say i have a $1500 exhaust.

a custom one. mines custom 3 inch and cost me 600 total with canistor mandrel bent. looks nicer, sounds nicer, and gives same gains, probably better then any of these $1000+ systems
pls email me with some pix if possible at 1qikctr@sbcglobal.net

The JDM Apexi N1 single catback for the pre-04s S2000 are best complimented matched with the Spoon 4-2-1 SS exhaust manifold. This will significantly increase mid to high end power gains.

Your set up is fine.I had the same but with a spoons test pipe.Any type of 4-2-1 header like you mentioned will gain mid range power for sure.
I like my new setup alot better but just $$$ to much.
J's header+J's 70rr exh
