It sounds like one mean-ass S2k you've got Mason. How much weight did you shave off by going with the Amuse high-flow cat?

And Hunter, this is the Avatar you speak of right?

This was another too.

I so can't wait for the 5th installment of Gran Turismo to hit our shores. GT for the PSP will be due out on October 1'st and from what I hear, data can be transferred to the PS3 when GT5 is released next year. Sweet!!

I'm actually not sure how much the cat weighs Jeremy. I guess in all of the excitement of getting everything installed, it never even crossed my mind to weigh the cat. The R1 (as you know) weighed in at around 9 pounds.

In all honesty, when holding the thing, it seems to weigh 7-8 pounds.

I see you're a fan of GT. I never played GT4, I have a PS3, but spend a lot more time on my 360. Have you played Forza 2?

On a completely random note, I noticed you have (or had) a King's overbore throttle body. What are your thoughts and opinions of it?

I had a Spoon 70mm on my 99' Si along with several other things, but never had it tuned. I'm sure I never saw the full potential of my mods, but in central Arkansas, the selection of Honda tuners is bare bones at best.

I still do have the KingMotorsports bb throttle body but I haven't tuned anything with the car at all. And the car feels strong too. I'm just waiting to get enough money to purchase a hi-flow cat to seal the deal. Then I'll probably go with Hondata or whatever seems best at the current time. There is literally a dyno/tuning shop just down the street from where I just moved to, and this is Upstate NY, not Cali. Awesome I say!

If the Amuse cat seems like 7-8 pounds then you probably took off another 10-12 pounds as the usual cats weight around 20 pounds I believe, but not completely certain.

And speaking of GT4, you can play it on the PS3 and it has a great photo-op feature to it.

I have Forza 2 and have completed most of the game. I hear there is a Forza 3 due out this fall too. That'll be something to look forward to.

So when I'm not busy unpacking in the new house, I definitely kick back on XBox or PS3. Not to mention drive the S2k and turn heads like its a Ferrari. Thats always fun to do.

Look me up on Live man! My tag is the same as my S2KI user name... mr flannery77.

Speaking of a mean-ass S2K, it looks like yours is pretty insane itself! I'ts rare I get to "back and forth" w/ someone heading in a similar direction w/ their S. That's why when Hunter and I talk, it always turns into a 1-2 hour S session!

There really isn't much of a JDM following around the metropolitan area of Malvern (weighing in at a whopping 10,000 individuals). It's kinda like a crack addiction, sometimes I get to jones'n for some like minds!

Ahh cool. The scene has become more-so within the past 5 years here but its still just mostly civics and some decent 240's that have JDM parts. Not too much though. And sometimes when folks ask what Amuse is all about, I tell them it started way back when in Japan, caught my attention in Gran Turismo 4, and now the rest is history. And I told them I couldn't argue about the price-to-quality and functionality their parts have on a car, like ours! I am extremely well satisfied buying their products and other companies as well, like BYS, Spoon, Mugen and the like.

I just really need to get my car tuned at some point. But I just bought a house and am still unpacking stuff here. On top of which I need to buy all new windows and a couple doors as well.

But the car is still there, hopefully it always will be.

I work in building material / contractor sales, so if I can be of any help w/ window and door questions, let me know.

Nice!! I would be a complete prick in not acknowledging the fact that Colin has spent a few hours on the phone with me as well! If "the beer" is in me, I tend to talk for quite a long time!

Got no questions yet but I'll be sure to ask if I do.
