Question about firearm / Pellet gun laws for Duval
Question:
In Duval Co. can I shoot a pellet gun at a target in my backyard without breaking any laws any of you are aware of?
The rifle I'm thinking of using is louder than a normal pellet gun but not as loud as a 22 rifle. If a neighbor sees and hears it they might call the police because it looks menacing to the layman. Not worried about the neighbor just the po po.
Thanks

In Duvall county Florida, It is ok to shoot a BB/Pellet gun in your back yard for target pratice only. You cannot shoot any wildlife. Also you must be at least 16 years of age to own one. Under 16 must have adult supervision. People with a felony record is also allowed to own one as well. Providing He or she is not on parole or probation. BB/Pellet guns are not concidered firearms in the state of Florida.
