it is a little pricey, but i feel its worth it. i always enjoy parking on the field, and having dinner and hanging out with everyone friday night, and the banquet dinner saturday night. jim, im glad you and the jacksonville guys will be meeting up with us in jasper again. i cant wait till april!

Registration allows - BBQ cookout which is good. They have a pretty good beer swap every year on that night. Also if you want to participate in any organized events you need to register. E.g. Poker run. Also you get access to the banquet and dinner. Last year the food was pretty good and the prizes also. One prize was a 600 dollar card to tirerack. The presentation and speeches were really bad. I think they will approve on this as they got a lot of criticism last year.
Most of the runs we attend are not organized and just done by word of mouth. One of my favorites is following Ron on cherohala.
So if you don't want to register it's up to you. But if it's your first time I would highly recommend it. My 2 cents.
