How are you people getting quoted for way less than invoice? From the trend of responses that I see on here and on other threads, every single brand new 2007 s2k is sold at a loss to the dealership. Is that possible? >.>
It's not a loss - the dealership buys the car for around 29,800 - trust me, a dealer would never LOSE money. Right now the Honda employee buy incentive is 30,530.71 - so if that gives you any idea of a starting price. They can work a few hundred dollars better than that.

Where can u point me to that can officially back up your statement? It doesn't help to know unless you can prove that it's true. A sales guy will play dumb until you can show him something....

Here's invoice price. This may help.

Where do you live? That may be a factor.

OTD prices are meaning less, unless you live in the same state and municipality.

Your prices before taxes and state fees are better indications of how much the car actually costs.

I live in Southern Cal...San DIego to be exact. Invoice in this area is $31.4k. I noticed that the edmunds link that you sent me was national averages. However, KBB states $31.4k for the san diego area. Invoice + shipping + taxes ends up being $34.7k OTD. THat's the lowest I've seen in my area so far.
