VSA
Hello everyone,
I am seriously considering buying an S2000. But the accidents in posts from all over the world really scare me. I have never had a car with ESP er VSA or traction control. Would it in most of the crashes in this forum have made a difference? (please say yes)

peer,
The problem is that people get overconfident with the car (or lack experience with high-powered rear-wheel-drive). If you lack good judgement, this isn't the car for you.
That said, the MY06 stability control is probably going to prevent some of these accidents. Honda's a little late to the party getting this incorporated in the car (IMO), but in this case late is better than never.
The car really is nothing to be afraid of (any year), but you really have to know how to control yourself. I guess that's all I can think to say.
We had one brand-new owner here in Intro last week, and now he owns a heap of metal. Control, control, control.
