Default Two S2K's at my local dealer... good deal?

Ok, so I currently own a 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege that is highly modified. I am trying to sell it (see link below), but it seems I am not getting any hits. It is hard to find used S2K's around here, and one dealer just happened to get 2 in. I am considering taking my Mazda to them and seeing what they would give me for it. What do you think about the S2000's for sale? (see my replies for pictures / info)

Will Honda give me crap for my Mazda because it is not a Honda? What about it being modified? I am going there tomorrow, so I guess I will know soon enough. I just want to make sure those prices are good.

Also, were the gray's between those two years different? One has a hardtop, and I would like to put it on the other one. It seems one is a lighter gray though.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. If it were up to me I would sell my Mazda privately and buy had2haveit's supercharged S2K.

Here is my car:

If it were me, I'd put the Protege on Ebay and go for the 02 S. The 02 has the glass rear window ( even though I don't mind the plastic one) and the hardtop. Your Mazda would be a pretty nice ride for what your asking. Seems tastefully modded with good parts. Take it to the dealership and see what they'll do......don't get your hopes up though. Good luck on the S!

Thanks. Its $80 for Ebay listing, and I still have a couple of weeks on Autotrader. Might hold out for a bit.

My best bet is still had2haveit's S2K. It already has a supercharger.... which is nice because it would take a lot of wife-convicing (or diamonds) to put a SC on one of the cars listed above. If I sell mine privately (and soon), then I will get his.

As far as the above cars... I like the color of the 2001 better, and the fact is has very little miles. It is a toss-up really, because the hardtop is hot.

Go for the 02, it has the hardtop and glass rear. Plus it does have more miles but it will still last forever!

Dude, stay away from that second one. If the owner put the side emblems under the headlights, what other stupid #(%! did he do?

Plus the 02 has a glass rear window and hardtop. You could always sell the hardtop to offset the extra cost if you wanted, but I'd keep it.

36k on a 4 year old car is low mileage. Plus we're only talking 17k difference. Not 9,000 vs 36,000. The other one is pushing 20.

If it comes down between those two, I'd choose (assuming mechanically sound) the sebring one and I'd run from that silverstone.
