Thumbs down

You guys telling him to keep the 335i have got to be kidding? Every single BMW from 20 yrs ago until now looks EXACTLY the same inside, and they are always broken, not to mention they are EVERYWHERE. My G/F has a 335 and it is no where near as exciting to drive as my S. Granted the S used to seem faster but nowadays every car is built 300hp out of the box, but do what I did, buy a Turbo for $4,000.00 and with some good driving you'll be right there with the brand new M3's.......and blowing the 335i's away

There is no other greater feeling when I take an on ramp at 40mph faster then anyone else with the top down and Vtec Screaming, and the gearbox...c'mon, the S is a Drives car the 335i is a car for a CPA

The Brand new $70,000 M3, which is no doubt pretty on the outside (not too pretty inside) runs the 1/4 mile in 12.5, (Road & Track), just throw a Turbo on the S2000 and some great driving you will run that, I have seen 12.2 with some 330WHP S2000's......

And just think of the look on the BMW drivers face when your $30,000.00 $ banger beats em, that alone would be worth it

For speed, the 335is is faster. For bling, the 335i is more of a baller car -- more bling.

For fun-to-drive? The 335i doesn't come close though.

You do lose out on the convenience factor though. The S2000 is very small in the cabin, has a small trunk, and has no back seats. I never realized how inconvenient it is until I moved to Asia to live with my parents, and when I have to drive people more often (i.e. fewer people have cars here).

So it depends on whether the inconvenient factor will get to you. If you think it will, then don't get the S2000. For me, it doesn't matter much as I have the option of taking my parents' family car out. That's why I'm on my second S2000 when I moved 8000 miles across the world, and had the chance to get another car (i.e. E46 M3 that's faster and has more bling). I'm not done with the boy-racer cars yet

wait, so you went S2000 or not? I just got back from a spirited drive and after owning it for almost 4 years, still smiling ear to ear, and I can't imagine what I will be like with a Turbo, and a few months after my initial Turbo install, I will get it Tuned and a reinforced
rear-end and Ill be running damn close to Stock C6's.............

The 335 isn't that quick of a car - don't know why everyone's thinking that it's that much faster than the S. A 50 shot of nitrous would eat the 335 up for only 600 bucks.

I say go for it!
