I'd get an '03. The 04+ have the 2.2L and a lot of subtle improvements.

If you thought the "vette tax" was high for parts, be sure you are sitting before you see what parts for an S2000 cost.

Good luck with the new ride.
agreed and like someone else said there is a lot less torque in this car compared to the vette. The car may seem slower but I was able to take down my boys 92 vette on some backroads around me an I think this car does a ton better in the twisties

To the OP.....

What made you sell your C5?

I ask because my recent purchase decision was between a C5 Corvette and the S2K. Even though I appreciate the looks and low-end torque of the Corvette, I was sold on the overall driving experience of the S.

Even so....I still love the 'vette....and I will own one someday.

wow, I think half the posts in this thread were about gayness. Crazy, As for the OP, The best advise one can give is to go and drive an ap1, and ap2 and a 06+ ap2. If you get an ap1 you will ideally want an 03, with the ap2s I prefer the 04 and 05 over the 06+, but with the 06+ you can get the hondata reflash that will give you a pretty good bump in power from what I hear. Good luck with the search man and be sure to post up some pics once you get yourself an S.
