Default So How'd we do?

It's winter in the Mid-west and my wife and I got a nice break in the weather and decided to take advantage of it by taking my toy out for a nice ride! (Suzuki c90t with pipes, crash-bar, lightbar, bought used from dealer)

We decided to ride over by the honda dealership to see what kind of deals are happening due to 08' models closing out and the economy being what it is.

So, out with the motorcycle in with the "other" two seater!!! <---- woot!

We bought a red 08' with 31 miles on it. We walked away for about $29,995. So, How did we do?

Plans already in the works for full mugen exhaust/intake. (header, dual ti, intake) bike when sold will pay for that! Good idea? anything better? I like the heritage of mugen but am open to other ideas.

I'm a S2K newb so be gentle.

BTW my damn sales person said, "they are already broken in so go ahead and red line that monster." I did but had huge reserves about it and called a few in the business and the told me NOOOOO wait till 600 at least. Nice right? bummed me out.

Pictures Added!!!

i wouldn't redline the s2000 if new. i'd check the service manual or owner's manual what is recommended. i'm sure somebody here can give you a definite official answer concerning restrictions and mileage before beating the hell out of the car...

I've held off touching the vtec let alone red-line after I learned about the break-n' period. I knew what the sales guy was saying was too good to be true.

I'll wait till I get around 1k miles on it before really jumping into it. But so far we are having sooo much fun. Can't believe this little car is this much fun!

Car looks great, welcome. For advise on intake, header, exhaust, check out 'naturally aspirated' subforum, they have several 'official ___" threads that contain a great deal of info, specs, photos etc.
