Hello everyone. Just thought i would introduce myself. My name is Mike, but I go by Lou. I am in the military and currently deployed. I had decided before I left for my deployment that I wanted an S2K. All I have done since is try to figure out what color and what year. I drink a lot of fluids which makes me want an AP2 with Cupholders(I know silly option to really want). But what I would really like is to be able to rev to 9k! Currently I own an 05' Acura RSX Type-S, But my wife really likes that car and I would like to pass that off to her and turn her 09 Camry into my DD, and just drive the S2K when I feel like gettin rowdy. Also my intention is to track the S2K at various race tracks in Texas,for now since that is the state I live in currently. I love my RSX, but it is not a true "Sports Car" and that is what I really want. I think I have narrowed it down to 3 real options. NFR AP1/2, GPW AP1/2(preferably with Tan interior), or Laguna Blue. Ultimitely I would like a hard-top, not OEM though because i really like the Mugen HT. Also I would like the VIS racing carbon fiber front splitter, sides, and rear diffuser. But first I need the car and being deployed I am hesitant to try and buy anything from here. I drove an AP1 years ago and fell in love, I just never thought would be in the position to attain one. Now that I can, I cant think of anything else. Anyways, I am glad I signed up and will surely be a gold member when I get my car. I would like some opinions on color or AP1 vs AP2. I have been reading a lot here on the forum and everyone is really bent on the 9k redline. It would be nice but what are REAL benefits of an AP1 vs an AP2?
